Typical EPC Package Project spent: 50M$ up to 3B$ CAPEX, with high complexity, for the different TotalEnergies branches (E&P, RC, GRP)
-Extensive transversal management of internal to C&P TotalEnergies (TGP) entities (Categories, Legal,..) and external entities (Business, Line products, Projects, Technical Entities)
-Role of representation of TGP project entity towards the projects and affiliates, in particular during some committees (Local contract committees for instance, shareholders, suppliers meetings,…)
-Single Point for Contact matters on some designated projects
NB. minimum 15years in EPC type contracts engineering and administration for industrial projects
Objectifs et livrables
ACTIVITIES
The activities deal with worldwide Contract Engineering and Administration but also Claims Management (including Contractor and Company claims and disputes) as detailed below:
1- Senior contract engineer for designated projects supported by the TGP entity: "Project Assistance":
- Provide support for all contract and procurement activities required by the designated capital project(s),
- Be able to advise and execute contractual documentation on more complex forms of CFT’s: CCFT, OBE/OBT, FEED+, etc.
- Develop the CFT package: commercial structure, contract terms, etc.
- Launch CFT and manage contractual qualification and exception review and negotiation,
- Evaluate commercial aspects of the bids and recommend award,
- Claim Preventive awareness (contract management methods, tendering stage and early execution stage),
- Support project team to obtain relevant approvals and/or to go through any kind of gates.
2- Senior referent for some Projects contract engineering:
- Participate in defining and coordinating the contract methods for the entity (Contract toolbox, Competence requirement for contract engineers, expertise requirement, evaluation quiz...),
- Participate in coaching the contract engineers of the entity (Assistance, advice, training...),
- Ensure Governance is followed for Contracts process on projects of his/her perimeter (CFT, RTA, approvals),
- Ensure recurrent contacts with the contract engineers/managers of the Projects of his/her perimeter,
- Represent TGP/PJE in different types of Project Reviews for the contractual subjects.
3- Coordination with TGP legal entity
- Participate to the overall coordination with TGP/JUR/PJE: information sharing, coordination of actions for the on-going projects of his/her perimeter…
- Contribute to ensure coherence between PJE, JUR/PJE and Project’s needs.
4- as required, the incumbent may be requested to be the Single point of contacts for some designated projects (SPOC) (all branches E&P, RC, GRP).
5- Assist and/or participate in Claim Management or Counterclaim process:
- Analysis and review of existing Contracts/Claims: provide expertise support to projects for existing Contracts/Claims and corresponding resolution (contracts execution phase / close out phase):
- Advise and direct the projects for “on the spot requests” with regards to management of claims,
- Investigate and assess merit of major claim/dispute,
- Provide higher understanding and recommendations for building the Claim dossiers and corresponding settlement,
- Assist the project in drafting correspondences and notices to Contractors.
6- Contribute continuously to Contracts REX/Lessons Learnt consolidation. For each of the dossier, is starting by screening the existing REX and when completing a dossier preparing main lessons learnt to be shared with other contract engineers and to be archived.

SITE LIFTING SPECIALIST SERVICES

Services to be performed by the CONTRACTOR shall include the following, but without limitation:
- Continually liaise with the CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within COMPANY are consistently respected within JV Offshore sites.
- Advices OML99, OML100 and OML102 RSES on issues pertaining to lifting and handling operations.
- Constantly liaise with contractors in order to ensure that their lifting equipment and operations are in
- congruence with TUCN lifting and handling procedure
- Carry out periodic lifting audits in OML99, OML100 and OML102.
- Develop a rigging loft procedure and ensure that the rigging loft is properly and adequately controlled
- Work in conjunction with other lifting team to ensure that lifting equipment and lifting standards are respected in the day-to-day operations.
- Review Lifting Operations Plans for all critical lifting or handling operations on Site to be submitted to the final review and approval of the CPLO.
- Participate in JSA of critical lifts and attends all critical lifts carried out within JV offshore.
- Provides expertise in day to day handling and lifting activities on site, which include categorizing lifts, hazard
- identifications and risk assessment, technical review (lifting procedures and organizations),
- Assists the CPLO during assessment of personnel competence to carry out lifting and handling operations.
- Ensure that toolbox talk is performed by all personnel at the beginning of each critical lifting operation.
- Performs technical inspection and evaluation of cranes and selects lifting equipment proposed for use on sites
- Prepare generic lift plans and carry out its periodic reviews.
- Develops a Site lifting and handling procedures / instructions and ensure its periodic review.
- Coaches and mentors’ personnel involved in lifting and handling operations (crane operators & riggers, etc.) on site.
- Liaise with COMPANY approved 3rd party inspection companies for the Lifting Equipment inspection and certification campaign
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all applicable Company Rules (e.g. CR EP HSE 043) and COMPANY Lifting Procedures (Lifting
- Management System) regarding handling & lifting operations are well understood and applied by all personnel
- involved in lifting operations.
- Ensure that the SLS Pre-lift Checklist is completed and signed prior to the lifting operation.
- Responsible for the application of appropriate procedures and methodologies to ensure that major hazards
- associated with lifting operations in JV Offshore sites are properly assessed and managed in line with Lifting
- Management System (LMS)
SERVICE PERSONNEL PROFILE
- Technical Engineering degree
- 3 years verifiable experience in lifting and handling operations
- Possession of LEEA/NSL up to Level 4
- Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all types of lifting equipment and operations within affiliate.
- Ability to prepare or review lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments.
- Good knowledge of English
SERVICE Scheme and Location:
- Offshore Nigeria or other Nigerian onshore WORKSITE(S) as designated by COMPANY
- Rotational scheme: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, 7 days per week, 12 hours a day, either day shift or night shift.
- However, these durations may be subject to adjustment by COMPANY due to operational or transportation reasons.
