We are seeking a highly experienced CPY Representative to oversee the flexible manufacturing activities for a major offshore development project.
Based at a manufacturing plant in Le Trait, France, the selected consultant will ensure that the contractor delivers flexible risers, spools, and jumpers on time, in full compliance with HSE and quality standards.
The position involves close supervision of manufacturing operations, coordination with technical teams, and strict adherence to safety and quality requirements throughout the fabrication phase.
The mission takes place during the execution phase of a major subsea project in Suriname, with a duration of up to three years (renewable until 2028).
Responsibilities

Ensure the contractor complies with all HSE, quality, and contractual requirements on site.
- Supervise and verify manufacturing, testing, and inspection activities (NDE/NDT, dimensional, cleanliness, etc.).
- Monitor and validate procedures, equipment, and personnel certifications.
- Report and follow up on non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution.
- Issue detailed weekly reports on progress, quality, and HSE status.
Must Have
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years in subsea or flexible manufacturing projects.
- Proven experience in flexible pipe fabrication and testing programs.
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong HSE culture and compliance mindset.
- Fluency in English and French.
Nice to have
- QC or Welding certifications.
- Experience with major operators or EPC contractors.
- Familiarity with factory acceptance and integration testing protocols.
- Availability for a long-term residential assignment in France.
